Fussy toddler
My son is 18 months old. he's fussy eater. I have tried making different food everyday but he doesn't want to eat anything. Even if he eats it's very small portion. He's just 8.5 kg. Please advise.

Firstly see his growth chart. Whether he comes in normal category. Foods have to be introduced gradually. This period is most difficult,but if we don't give them proper food it affects their diet pattern in later stages. Please connect for the daily diet needed at this age with few tips,but ofcourse all the hardwork will be done by you .

Give him cereals like ragi,rice,wheat as main course in the form of porridge,cerelac or cooked soft directly Plenty of cooked vegetables,fruits and cooked greengram sprouts . Milk milk products,are very important.,specially ghee. Dry fruits as almonds,walnuts,dates,raisins are good . As powder in cerelac. Enough water everyday is important .

Hi, To give advice require a detailed information and through a proper conversation solution can recommend. If he eats small portion then give it, instead of once, you give meal frequently with small portion.Try to keep one meal which is his favourite dish. It will be beneficial if you give one pot meal, like khichdi, pis - pas,  fruit custard etc. Repeat menu not more than twice in a week and make the meal colourful but nutritious.
