Since a month due to prolonged use of antibiotics (approx 20 days) I am experiencing fungal acne on my face and back which is itching. I have been treating it using Ketoconazole shampoo Nizral. It was working very slowly and on surface level. It is not able to stop the fungal growth completely and effectively so that it won't come back. Could you please suggest any oral antifungal treatment options with safe duration ?

Is it acne or something else like P folliculitis or
acneform eruptions. Don't go with Google terms. Get evaluated for hormonal changes, tyroid problems and have correct diagnosis and treatment with a dermatologist.
