Fungal infection of big toe
I was diagnosed with fungal infection of big toe.. 4 months back.. I was prescribed amlostar cream for toe.. And tab itraconazole to be taken daily.. Done that.. Lot of scales on sole of feet improved.. But my big toe nail is damaged still.. It looks like eaten away.. Only this issue remains.. All rest is okay.. Should i continue same treatment.. Or is there laser or another treatment for immediate improvement of deformed toe nail?

It would have taken swveral months before this toe nail got damaged.. there is no special treatement to reverse months of damage in short duration.. continue the treatmentthat the dermatologist has suggested .. wait atleast 3 weeks before seeing any visible change

Big toe nail grows in 6-12 months so if u want to se complete recovery u will need to continue from 6-12 months depending on your nail growth and regrowth of nail As i see your new nail looks healthy while defective nail is on the other side which u can cut easily Idea is to make sure new nail is not infected
