Front teeth not coming
It's been about 1.5 years since he lost his two front tooths. But they didn't come yet. Should we consult Dentist and what is the reason behind this ?

Hey there... Sometimes due to early exfoliation of primary (milky) teeth, there are chances that the permanent teeth eruption will be delayed...you can visit a nearby Pediatric dentist to get an x-ray done...and see what is the stage of development of concerned permanent teeth...

Should definitely consult a paedodontist to identify the problem if any. U might need to get the xray done to see the position of permanent errupting teeth

Hi..yes you should visit dentist. A x ray is required to know position of the teeth much better. Delayed eruption may be due to early exfoliation of milk teeth or delayed shedding.

Variations in the timing of eruption of permanent teeth occur in about 15 % of the population. However an 18 month delay could be abnormal. Please consult an orthodontist or a paediatric dentist for an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. An x ray would be needed for definitive diagnosis.

Hi, Very unfortunate to know that your son was without front teeth for 1.5 yrs.
Since he is 9 yrs old.... I think the probable reason might be the delay in exfoliation of milk teeth.
you should consult your local dentist and get an xray evaluation done
