Fracture of lateral malleolus of fibula
Hi, My Dad's X-ray report shows below result: Calcaneal spur noted. Fracture of lateral malleolus of fibula bone. His age is 63yrs. Currently doctor has done the plaster on his leg. after observing the X-ray film. I need second advise whether plaster can help to cure the problem or is there any other treatment is required? Also give some tips on taking the more care to recover quickly.

Malleoli fracture may need something more other than casting as malleoli fracture is considered a intrarticular fracture.

share x-rays post cast if you have..or pre cast x-rays.

Plaster is mandatory there is no alternative option

Keep moving toe n finger of foot after a week to avoid stiffness
