Sir, i am diabetic with no related complications yet.Can diet and regular exercise reverse it? I have been diagnosed a week back. FBS 142 mg/ dl, taking cetapin 500 mg twice daily. Creatinine 0 .8 cholesterol 164 triglyceride 102 tsh 2.1. Plz suggest on how frequent should be the follow ups.

Hi, noted your concern. But see , once a person is diagnosed diabetic , he will remain diabetic forever. This means he/she needs continued approach towards keeping it in the targeted range. But the good news is, if you follow your lifestyle in balanced & healthy way, you will surely prevent the long term complications of diabetes. Keep in touch with your doctor even if you are not having complications now. Your doctor will help you to maintain your diabetes in the expected target range.
