Fistula discharge after 3 months
Hi, I had a fistula surgery(Fistulectomy)  in ano 3 months back. It is a high fistula with only internal opening and no external opening at 6'o clock. Length is around 1.9cm. Doctor mentioned it to be between type1 and type2. Along with this got piles ligtation surgery also done. Even aftet 3 months i am getting drainage(This is mostly transparent or slight yellowish in color and sometimes sticky).Sometimes it contains light particles. If i sit for long time(Around 2 hrs), the wound site is causing some pain I am also not sure if this is sweat or drainage.  The drainage decreased significantly compared to post surgery. I consulted the surgeon and he did a physical checkup and said that the wound healed completely. I showed the photo of the particle and doctor mentioned it is fine. He mentioned that this can happen even after the wound is healed and there can be no timeline on when it would be stopped. When this drain/discharge would be stopped? Can i do anything to expedite it?
