I suppose you should go for a treatment which is scientifically proven and has been tried in many patients. To that extent allopathic medicines are more sure to act. Whatever knowledge I have about Trifala, it should have acted within 48 hours. 7 days is too long a time. Please consult a General Surgeon in your area for a physical examination. If you are diagnosed as having fissures by a General Surgeon also then you should go for surgical treatment. The treatment of fissures is not affected by Menopause.

Healing of the fissure could take weeks depending on the depth and postion.Constipation may not help healing.Avoid constipation. An ayurvedic doctor may inform you the duration of the chran treatment.
