Fever in 3 year old girl
Hi my 3 year old girl having fever from yesterday. Max it reached 103.3 and decreasing to 100 when we used medicines. Fever is in between 100 to 103 in a day. Today is second day still fever has my kid. We are using colpal250mg syrup and meftal if high fever and also v r using alerid for cold. Please advise when can I take her to hospital and till what temp is safe to diagnose at home with above medicines.
These medicines given by doctor by last time visit. Please advise
Note: no vomiting and she is active

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take3-7 days to subside.
Just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
If not improving in 3-5 days OR accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness or dullness,consult your paediatrician immediately.
