Fever for baby
My 5 month old male baby is having temperature of 37.6 to 37.8 since 5 days. On doctor's advise we are giving him paracetamol and antibiotic even. Still the temperature is not decreased. Generally my baby's body temperature will be a little bit high at his chest and stomach part. Rest all body parts are cooler than those parts and almost we feel normal when we touch his other body parts. Is above temperature normal or do we need to worry. DPT vaccine has to be given for baby.
Can it be given at this temperature. Please advise. Thanks.

Is the child dull or active
Is the child taking feeds. Your child needs to be examined for proper advice. As first aid I advice you to give boiled and cooled water. 15 to 20 cc, 4 to ,5 times per day. Post pone the Dpt, till everything is solved.
