Fever, cold and cough
Dear Doctor, Good afternoon, i have a baby girl who is 2.8yrs old on 31.10.2016 she started having cold and cough my pediatrician prescribed relent+, 2 days later she started having cough and fever he changed the medicine to ancer LM to b given for 12 weeks as an anti allergic medicine and ventorlin expectorant and also mentioned to wait for another day and if fever goes beyond 100° to start antibiotics, her temperature raised to 102.9° on 3.11.2016 evening so i started giving her antibiotics and calpol every 4th hourly according to the fever. Then she was fine and the temperature reduced to normal but since yesterday i.e 6.11.2016 afternoon she is having fever yesterday at around 2.30pm she had 100.6° and later on reduced, but today again the fever has repeated her temperature is 100.2° my pediatrician has suggested to wait till tomorrow afternoon and has prescribed for a blood test tomorrow, kindly provide me a solution as my pediatrician is not in town.
