With a one day history of fever and body aches, it sound more like a viral illness. You can take paracetamol tablets 650 mg ones when you have a fever spike as this will keep you comfortable
Don't take more than 3 grams a day.
Drink at least 3 litres of water.
Rest and do eat home cooked food if possible
A simply viral fever should settle within 5 days.
If you develop any new symptoms or if the fever is not settling with paracetamol tablets , do consult!
