Hi, With a one day history of fever and body aches, it sound more like a viral illness. You can take paracetamol tablets 650 mg ones when you have a fever spike as this will keep you comfortable Don't take more than 3 grams a day. Drink at least 3 litres of water. Rest and do eat home cooked food if possible A simply viral fever should settle within 5 days. If you develop any new symptoms or if the fever is not settling with paracetamol tablets , do consult!
Next Steps
Please do not do a WIDAL test or take antibiotics. A lot of people advice it but it has no role.
