My daughter is 1 year 6 month old weighing 9.6 KG. She had sign of fever on 21/10/2025 afternoon. We have paracetamol Fepanil 120 syrup. Later next day when we contacted doctor. He suggested P250 paracetamol syrup and HH Levo-M Kid syrup for runny nose. Till 25/10/2025 afternoon her fever levels were almost down. But doctor suggested "Refzil O" antibiotic Syrup 3 course for 4 days as he found lite infection. After taking the first does of antibiotic her fever levels are high at night. Is this common and need not to be worried or do I need to stop Antibiotic?

Continue antibiotics and if fever is persistently high, consult a doctor for investigations and further management. Please look that there is no allergic reaction to antibiotic, like fever associated with rash, itching, excessive vomiting or diarrhoea or swelling over body or face. In such a case you will have to consult your doctor immediately.
Best wishes.
