Is the pain due to any high intensity activity or injury or excessive walking or ill fitted shoes.Please do ice at the tender spot for about 20 mins thrice a day and post that apply any pain relieving gel . You can also undergo ultrasonic therapy (physio) for the same .
Next Steps
If the pain is not decreasing please get a xray for the foot. If you keep on getting pain in the smaller joints like that of fingers, wrist etc then please get a blood test for rheumatoid airthritis along with esr and vit D3 to rule out the Rh arhritis and VitD deficiency

pls wear corrective shoes as in shoes which are closed shall be avoided as it puts stress directly on the metatarsals(toes) and give it rest for 1 week
