Fatty Liver
I am 15 KG overweight. I do not drink alcohol usually but whenever I do I end up in binge drinking for short period of time.. like once in a week for one month continuosly then I will not drink for 6-8 months or so. Trying to abstain totally from alcohol. I recently visited a gastroenterologist for dull pain in abdomen. Liver enzymes were slightly elevated and Sonography scan confirms Grade I/II fatty liver, rest is fine. I am given Vitamin E, Livopill DS and Rabez D. Are these meds sufficient to reverse the condition? I will stop taking alcohol for sure.

Yes these medicines are sufficient. Liver has self healing property. Once you stop alcohol completely the liver starts to heal gradually. But if you start drinking again it will worsen immediately. For few months reduce oily and fatty foods. As the liver is little weak now the digestion of fat will be affected and it might get deposited as cholesterol. So try to avoid oily and junk foods for a while.
