Dear Sir, This is Sai Balakrishna, 34 years old. I wanted to go for family planning operation. Can I know if I have to reachout urologist for the same.

There are NSV ( Non scalpel vasectomy) centres in every district hospital where trained general surgeon perform free of cost. But if you are not feeling confortable , you can seek consultation of urologist. But not all urologist perform NSV, as it require special Instruments.

There is no need for a urologist. Visit the nearest Govt. Health centre. They will do the operation freely and also compensate you !
