Failed RCT
I have a RCT in 2014 . Now I observed there is a swelling in gums under treated area. Yesterday I went for checkup and according to xray the doctor told me there is a tooth abscess in root of treated canal. She also told me re - treatment is also risky ( I could not understand the term risky ) and no 100% chance if swelling will treat. She give an appointment in next month but now I m concern about my treatment . I want to ask if there is any other treatment instead of re treatment of root canal or if I go for RCT again it will solve problem permanently without extraction of tooth. Plz reply
