Many times when you start with new form of exercises.it gives muscle soreness.and it resolves spontaneously. No need to take pain killers. Just apply ice packs twice a day and give some rest to muscles.and if pain dosnt subsides in next 2-3 days make visit to ur nearby physiotherapist to eliminate any chances of muscles or ligament injury. Thanks

Don't worry, if this is just post gym pain, just do icing and stretching. Looks like the muscle strength is not so good as to tolerate the gym level of exercise. Do graded strengthening under professional supervision so that you can avoid these spasms.
