Facial twitches
I feel numbness and tingling in my facial nerve. Sometimes numbness in my hands ,legs and other body parts. I get little but noticeable, involuntary facial expressions which is like smiling and angry. I am very tensed and had to leave my job as my colleagues were abusing and making fun of me. I think my life is ruined. I tried exercises and facial exercises which exaggerated it even further. Can u tell me that is this problem curable. And which type of doctor shall I consult. And can you also tell me what role magnesium plays in this. I consulted a physician who did not took my problem seriously and recommended me etopram and other medicines which didnt cure me.  A proper reply would be highly appreciable.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. First of all i need to know who told you that you have facial nerve weakness? You made that up by yourself? You should get it checked out by a neurologist in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
