Facial Hair
I have facial hair near the side buns and below my chin due to PCOD. I don't really like how my face looks with that. I am seeing a lot of women resorting to shaving their face using facial razor. I want to give it a try but kind-of skeptical. My dates are irregular too. I have being doing yoga for like 2 months from now. Changed my lifestyle and diet. Will this facial hair ever go away? Can I shave my face using facial razor for women? Will there be any problems in near future if I shave my face?

Women develop excessive body or facial hair due to higher-than-normal levels of androgens, including testosterone. All females produce androgens, but the levels typically remain low. Certain medical conditions can cause a woman to produce too many androgens. In ur case PCOS is the issue. Skin irritation and redness are the most common side effects of shaving. Shaving can cause skin cuts and may lead to ingrown hairs. Plucking can hurt, especially if a lot of hairs are removed. Using hot wax can burn your skin. Get ur PCOS stabilised else this hair growth wont reduce. Preferable opt for LHR provided there is no hormonal variation.
