Eyelid swelling
Hello Dr. My child age 3 months has got swelling in her upper eyelid. Last day I visited a hospital and dr. out there confirmed that my child is suffering with capillary Haemanjaio. She prescribed Timolol 0.5% eye drop and advised to apply on skin( not in eye). Is it helpful applying on skin instead of putting into eye? I am sharing my child pic and prescribed eyedrop. Please help me

As rightly advised by Dr. Goel, it is best to consult an Oculoplasty surgeon to assess if the child' s vision is okay and to confirm the diagnosis. And of course to discuss varied management options and document the course of the swelling with sustained follow up.
Next Steps
fix an appointment with an Ophthalmic plastic surgeon (Oculoplasty consultant) at the earliest.
Health Tips
The modality of management is varied and a doctor who keeps herself of himself abreast of latest developments in this area would be ideal to guide the course of action.
