Eye Pain and Redness
I am currently using the Latanoprost eye drop as prescribed by the doctor at night, but i have noticed that most times my eyes are red and i experience pains usually in the mornings or afternoons. The pain can last for long sometimes not for too long.I was then told to use MAXITROL eye drop to help with the redness. Can i use both eye drops.

At 30 years age, if you are prescribed latanoprost, you are diagnosis as suffering from glaucoma. Latanoprost, a prostaglandin analogue causes redness and so it is to be used at bed time to minimize inconvenience. Maxitrol is a steroid antibiotic combination eye drop medicine. In glaucoma using steroids increases chances of damage due to steroid induced glaucoma. So stop maxitrol and change latanoprost to bimatoprost 0.01%, a similar drug and chances are of redness might be less.
Next Steps
To confirm glaucoma you need visual field and OCT scan in addition to fundus examination and IOP recording
Health Tips
I need all the above tests to label you as suffering from glaucoma.
