Extremely cracked fingers
My fingers are cracked and extremely dry. They get so cracked that they burn and bleed, This is only on my left hand. The lotion I use is for eczema and it only works if I put a lot on before going to sleep. Then they feel like the pads on a cats paw. With no fingerprint. I have noticed it only happens before and after winter months. I don't think it's any kind of soap causing my fingers to get like this, or having my hands in water. Only my left hand gets this way, and my right hand is fine, visible fingerprints. I cannot see fingerprints on my left hand for they are either pad-like (like the pads on a cats paw) or extremely cracked. The way it currently appears, it's pad-like with cracks on top. I have mild psoriasis on my scalp and spots on my back, so I am not sure if this could be some type of psoriasis or not. It's very unusual and it only began last year just before winter months and after, now I'm noticing it is happening again during the same times. I am a 20 year old female.

From your detailed description I can make out that either you may be having a type of eczema ( chronic hyperkeratotic eczema)  which is a type of internal allergy or type of psoriasis which affects only hands and/or feet.A clear picture of affected area will help in differentiating. The treatment for both these conditions is long term as it depends on internal factors.Like you mentioned it improves when u apply creams and then it comes back. This is exactly how this eczema behaves, it gets aggravated in winter season. The treatment depends on its stage and we have to change the creams or ointments frequently and once it subsides, you will have to use a particular moisturizer to prevent it.
Next Steps
I would advice you to get it examined by a qualified dermatologist for complete and correct prescription. You can attach pics and send for more detailed and specific Information.
Health Tips
Regular use of moisturizer immediately after wash will help keep it mois for longer. Hope you can use this information for better outcome. All the best.
