Hi , you should undergo blood test for thyroid profile. Sour taste of mouth could be due to acidity. For that Take yashtimadhu (mulethi) -1/2 tsf with milk or water - morning and evening. Don't keep long gap between meals . avoid hot  and spicy foods.
