In March 2021, I was prescribed Depran L (Escitalopram oxalate 5mg+ clonazepam 0.25) for my panic disorder by a colleague psychiatrist of my doctor uncle. I was doing great when on medicine. I took it for 2 months (1 month regularly & 1 month irregularly to tapper it).
After 10 days of stopping the medicine, brain zaps, panic & low mood started. Since then I was on no medicine and anxiety increased day by day.
Some days ago, consulted a doctor online & he prescribed Paroxetine 12.5 with clonazepam.
My question is that if then, I was doing better with escitalopram, should I go for Paroxetine?
As Paroxetine has more side effects than escitalopram.
Or can I consult you for better advice?

Continue taking Escitalopram. Better not to take in combination with clonazepam. As clonazepam is habit forming, not recommended for more than two weeks.
