Pls check post surgery xray of capittelum fracture in right elbow of my brother 29 years old.
Had surgery done in right way.?
And some notes have been taken .
How long this surgery will work . surgery done in govt hospital.
So need your guidance in it.
How long does it take to heal completely.
Can screw be removed in future.
Can arm work ever as before??

Get an x-ray done after 4 weeks of the surgery
For such kind of fracture a proper rehabilitation is required to gain the range of motion.
You should follow the advise of the doctor and physiotherapist.
It was a bad fracture to start with. The important bone which is like a pivot for proper rolling and bending of elbow was injured so some amount of stiffness and restriction of movement is expected. Fixation is satisfactory and comply to physiotherapy instructions by operating surgeon. Slowly and steadily improvement will be seen. Removal of screws only if they protrude out at a later date after doing CT scan. If they are burried inside bone, don't even think of it
