Edward Syndrome Risk -reg
Dear Dr, Now i am in South Korea. My wife is 5 months pregnant now. Last month we went for normal checkup to my wife. Today the dr told me that, For our child Downsyndrome risk is 1:84000 (Risk 1:450) Edwards Syndrome Risk: 1:22 (Risk 1:150) Neural tube defect Risk:0.931 (Risk 2.5 MoM) he told edward synd high risk. Pls let me what does it means.

Yes risk is higher. Go for anamoly scans to detect any anamolies at the earliest. You can go for amniocentesis with your obstetricians opinion.  It will tell exactly the baby has that syndrome or not. All the best. Hope for the best.
