Earphones and hearing
I spend a good number of hours by listening songs on earphones. I use good quality earphones and use medium volume all the time. Recently did audiometry and result is 18/18. My question is doesn't earphones affect our hearing power? Any other adverse effects? Thanks

dear friend loud persistent sound will some day cause noise induced hearing loss, quality of headphones really do not matter, it a function of loudness, and duration of exposure to loud sound , the quality of head phone will enhance quality and clarity of sound so keep the volume low and enjoy music clarity and quality, being a rock fan my self let me assure you it sounds equally exciting and beautiful at low volume as well preserving hearing, happy listening , hope it clarifies your doubts
