Early morning backpain
I am suffering from severe back pain and stiffness in my spine whenever I woke up. I can't bear the pain as it effect my full spine. I am using 9 year old mattress. Is that is the only reason for this?? Or any other reason behind it?? I am searching for the cause in internet over a week but I found only this reason. Please suggest me what to do??

Severe back pain in the morning can be due to spine pathology and/or bad quality mattress. Bad mattress is a common cause for back pain and stiffness in mornings. Check your mattress quality. Mattress should feel soft when touched, and also give firm support (i.e. your body should not sink inside when you sit or lie down on mattress). If it is not soft and firm, then you need to change the mattress. If your back pain does not subside after changing the mattress or if your mattress is in good condition, then consult an orthopaedician or physiotherapist to rule out spine pathology.
