During pregnancy use of isotretinoin 20
I'm 2months pregnant , but it was unplanned pregnancy and I was on acne treatment till 30th of April, I was taken isotretinoin 20mg capsule every alternate day, than I got covid positive than I took azithromycin 500mg and dolo 650 .. please suggest should I continue with this pregnancy or terminate it .. because I heard isotretinoin is good for baby there could be chances of abnormalities or defeat in baby's nervous system ..

Yes isotretinoin is known to cause teratogenicity in the first trimester/first three months... No such evidence is found with Azithromycin Kindly consult with obgy

There should be gap of minimum 4 weeks of isotretinoin therapy before planning. Azithro and dolo are safe.

Isotretinoin must not be taken by patients who are pregnant or who may become pregnant. There is a high risk that isotretinoin will cause loss of the pregnancy, or will cause the baby to be born too early, to die shortly after birth, or to be born with birth defects (physical problems that are present at birth).must be stop
