Dry thin stool
Hello doctors, I've been excreting dry stool from the past couple of days. Also I get this pricking sensation while excreting. What could be the reason for this? I'm 25 and a bit over weight. I do not have stomach pain or any fever or nausea. Tonight I noticed thin strips of dry stool. Please advise

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Have a high fiber diet and drink plenty of fluids.  I would suggest you make some diet changes. 5 smaller meals rather than 3 huge meals would be required.  Kindly consult a general surgeon in person for further evaluation and management.  Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
