Having dry skin patches on face and arms whenever I go out in the sun. The surface becomes red and is itchy.

Reluctance of usage of sunscreens is because they are greasy or make your face appear white which is undesirable. There are different types of sunscreens available and there is one for everyone, so find the one that will help you or take the help of a Dermatologist. Remember to mention if you have any hair loss, joint pains or oral ulcers to the dermatologist as it may indicate something serious.
