Dry cough with little mucus
She(25 year old)  has been suffering from dry cough (khasi) since1 year . Mainly cough occurs before any meal or before sleep or at any day time not in any particular order and some irritation occurs in throat while breathing (it happens sometimes) and then this dry cough occurs at fast pace and very little amount of mucus came and came only when drinks hot water. Chest xray have been done and its came normal. Tried different medicine but not any permanent solution till date. Please advise any solution for this problem.

There laryngopharyngeal reflux most probably, rule out TB. Get a ENT and gastroenterologist checkup

Dry cough since 1yr means,,,Chronic cough syndrome.. The occasions you explained look like allergic Ot may be due to dryness, Reflux, Habituation. As the X-ray chest is normal,

Hello This may be an allergic cough but nasal symptoms to be excluded like nose block,post nasal drip etc which may suggest sinusitis.
