Dear Sir, overcoming a drug addiction can be taxing and can often make you feel helpless and powerless. It is commendable that you have already taken the first step and are actively working on your addiction and seeking help. Tramadol is prescribed as an Opioid Replacement Therapy (ORT). It takes time for replacement therapy to work and you may still face some withdrawal symptoms on treatment. You will have to overcome the withdrawal symptom with a strong will and determination. Over the weeks the symptoms will reduce and your medicine could be tapered down as prescribed by the doctor. It is advised that you consult a psychiatrist for the drug potency and report the withdrawal symptoms. ORT is one of the best treatment for drug addiction. You may also seek a clinical psychologist to assist you during this process.
Next Steps
1. Consult a psychiatrist and report the widrawal symptoms. 2. Stay strong and determined to overcome the widrawal symptoms. 3. Consult a clinical psychologist to help you adhere to the treatment.
