Does antibiotics cause crohn's
Hi everyone I was prescribed 4 courses of antibiotics over the last few months since August for treating H pylori infection, then amoebiasis and food poisoning. I want to know of this amount of antibiotic use might lead me to develop crohn's disease as I have been reading that antibiotic use is responsible for development of crohns. How do I reduce my risk of getting crohns. Regards,

No. ANTIBIOTICS do not cause crohns disease. Crohns disease etiology is still unknown. Auto immune cause is thought of but still being studied.
