Dm htn varicose veins
IF a 52 year old male, known diabetic type 2, htn from past 4-5 years is maintain his blood glucose levels with vogli gm1(methformin) bd, then does he needs to change medicine or start taking zita met plus od or continue with previous medication? Also he had high uric acid levels few months back, took medicines and is ok now. Also he experienced swelling in feet both in past which was corrected with medicine... Swelling comes back incase of exertion and is due to varicose veins

A comprehensive Diabetic profile needs to be done, which includes kidney function tests, serum electrolytes, hbaic, urine , CBC, Lipid panel and also xrays of the knee, contact Diabetologist immediately
