Hi,
Pain and discomfort in the calf can be because of muscles, nerves or blood vessels.
If the pain is not sharp or radiating kind of pain then we can rule out nerve.
It’s very important to diagnose why pain is coming.
If u are a runner or going to the gym or somehow you exert yourself then there might be a chance that you strained your muscles.
For musculoskeletal issues either you show to an Ortho or go to a Physiotherapist.
Assessment needs to be done to rule out the cause.
Next Steps
If the pain is acute/ recent then apply ice pack for 10-12 mins.
Otherwise use hot pack for 15-20 mins.
Don’t forget to stretch you calf muscle. Stretch should not be painful.
