Diarrheoa in 1yr 1 month old kid
Hi, i have a kid of 1 yr 1 month who is passing watery stools accompanied by mucus n red blood cells since yest she has pooped 10 times & is still passing today.i have given her ziprax & zincomia..n hv changed the formula from lactogen to isomil but still she is passing stools with lot of mucus..pls pls advice

Please send stool for routine and microscopy test and culture. Isomil don't help in all diarrhoeas. May be viral? Please visit your pediatrician and he can start some other medicine for reducing diarrea like racecadotril, lactobacillus etc
