diabetes once developed is a chronic condition .it can only be controlled by diet and exercise and medicines . keep fasting sugars around 100-120 and post meals less than 180 .this will keep her fit ,keep a check on bp and get all necessary tests done ,as sugar eats away body like termite eat wood but now we have very good medicines that keep person well with preserving all vital organs.meanwhile pay special emphasis to diet ....reduce fried foods and rice to minimum..get in touch with a diabetologist.

You have not given medicines she is taking
There are many reasons for uncontrolled sugars...Like if medicines r NT in proper dose...She is not taking it properly...Any infection...Urine infection....So do tests....Consult diabetologists.
Maybe shes not taking the required dose or not following dietary instructions or maybe there is some other cause for her high sugar levels. The reasons can be many. She will need proper assessment and change in medicine after examination
