Diabetic gangrene /ganglion foot/diabetic foot ulcer is a challenging condition and difficult to treat and manage, but Homeopathy has shown good results in some of the extreme cases where amputation was indicated. However, time is of essence in these conditions. Complete history of the patient, medical records, photographs of the lesions will be required. Also details about his lifestyle, food habits, desires, aversions, mental nature, feeling and sensation about his condition, his psychology and behavior. Nevertheless, the consequences and risk of delaying the amputation have to be carefully evaluated first.
Next Steps
Consult a surgeon for risk evaluation. Second opinion is always better before taking any decision in such cases but it should be done without wasting any time. Try Alternative medicines only if you clearly understand the risk of delaying amputation and are willing to take the risk.
Health Tips
Take care of proper nutrition of the patient. Do not stop the medicines to control sugar levels even if you take any other alternative medicines for healing. Proper foot care is necessary in all stages.
