Diabetes diet &hair loss
I am suffering from so much hair loss. I am following a diet to control my sugar levels. It is having fruits in the morning, more of vegetables in my lunch with 2 to 3 chapattis. inbetween having oats if feeling hungry. i stopped taking milk, having curd if i need. Night soup. Is my diet ok? what type of diabetic i am type1 or type 2.

Hi welcome - You can plan little better time wise in word file day wise like mon & wed , tues & thrus, veg one day,holiday one . Fruits mainly citrus, veg-manly gourds not under ground, rice or fried less, Oat/brown breads/2 phulka can have with 50gm curd in morning or 3 days/week plain oat meal/ puffed rice with green salad. then fruits in mid morning, Lunch as said, mid afternoon fruits 2 pcs like Guava/msaambi, evening (also morning ) some low calorie snacks with green tea, then Dinner, Eraly morning as well bed time @ 1 hr exercises as possble (as guided).

Hello madam, so you have concerned  regarding mainly hair  fall, diabetes type and regarding your diet . So first of all you afe type 2 diabetic . Regularly check your sugar levels and in 3 months once check ur HBA1C and keep check on ur sugar levels with medication. Second you should check ur thyroid profile because diabetic patient are prone to hypothyroidism. Do ur scalp is dry or lesions or dandruff because its common in diabetes which cause hairfall and regarding your diet preferably u should should take milk but without fat and don't take curd beacuse diabetic and hypothyroidism patient lack in calcium and vitamin d and that also common reason for hairfall. Rest of your diet is good. Keep your diet on same track...eat fruits... Eat oats.. take multigrain food at one time per day and daily start taking triphala churna with milk at night time and then tell me after 10 days about hairfall. U need to keep check on diabetes and hypothyroidism is its der. For further details contact me again

Your hair fall could be related to hormonal imbalances, seeing you that you are hypothyroid patient too. You have type 2 diabetes mellitus. Do not completely eliminate milk and curd from diet. Include them & follow a structured diet under guidance of a clinical Dietitian. Include a Vit b complex tablet post breakfast. This will help the hair fall
