Hi I understand you are feeling lonely. Your children don’t stay with you and you and your husband don’t have friends. Your children call you everyday which certainly makes you feel good but still you don’t want to feel lonely. To feel better consult a psychologist and talk about what you are going through. It is important to remember that you can feel happy. A psychologist will help you feel happy.

Loneliness can increase the depression level. Try to join with the community group or join with some meditation class. It will help to calm your mind. If you are feeling any other symptoms for more than two weeks please consult with a Psychologist. You can take some therapy sessions without medications.

Hi... The cause of your concern is purely psychosocial in nature and therefore Counselling/Psychotherapy is the best way ahead. You can join some support groups to help you interact with people going through similar phases in their lives. But again all this cannot be a supplement to real social and personal relationships. 60 is not the end of the world, you can still try to seek out some good bonds with people around you or try to renew some old bonds with friends and family. A therapist can help you change your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in a way that will help you make better life choices ahead.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. CBT along with Interpersonal Guidance and Counselling is required.
