Depression, Gabapentin and Fluoxetine
Weaning myself off Gabapentin prescribed for hot flushes. Previously on Citalopram which helped hot flushes and depression but caused stress incontinence. Gabapentin causes swollen fingers. Now very depressed, could Fluoxetine which is less likely to cause the stress incontinence, be taken while weaning myself off the Gabapentin?

Hello, SNRI would be a better choice in your case. They are nowadays prescribed for hot flushes other than depression. Discuss with your practitioner regarding adding of SNRI.
