My dear girl, The position you are in is a hard place to be in. On one hand you are craving for love & support from others & on the other hand feel incapable of extending your hands for it due to lack of confidence. Let's try and work on it together. Have you seen professionals who excel at what they do..?? Do you know the main reason for them to excel..? Their perseverance. Do you think they never fail. They would have. Multiple times. However they succeed because they choose to believe in their dreams & they choose to work towards realizing their dreams till they do so. Confidence is just like a muscle. You need to build it step by step with care. If you cannot open your mouth in front of people, do not open it in the beginning. Just stick with them for a while. You would reach a point where you can express yourself. Eventually you would be discussing stuff with them like a pro. No cricketer is a batsman or baller in the initial days when he/she started the game. They all began with presence on the ground, followed by fielding and then gained confidence to pick their forte. Most important thing is to make a list of all your strengths. Believe in yourself. Know that you are a lovable person. Start expressing your jovial side in one way or the other. You are your golden girl. You are your savior. Others can't save you, if they don't get to see you for what you really are.If you need further help working on your confidence, skill development or handling the depressed state; visit a psychologist or counselor. Talking to them is just like talking to your closest friend who knows how to help you with what you are going through. Take Care.
