Depressed due to noise
I get very much irritated of sounds...even if it is a background noise or some other noise...i am not able to sleep at night because of some sounds...and even wake up easily due to little noise...i feel like crying due to this...i have social anxiety disorder and depression which makes it worse

Feeling low, having crying spells, sleep and appetite disturbances, and difficulty in concentration and attention are some of the signs of Depression. Consult a Psychiatrist for a detailed assessment. It is likely with medication and counseling the symptoms will improve. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless consult a Psychiatrist immediately.

Hi Mam Thanks for seeking help here. Depression and anxiey need optimal treatment. I think still you are not taking full dose treatment. Let's have a discussion for complete management plans. Till you come for a consultation please use sleep hygiene and little sugar product at night before sleep.

Hi dear, first go for Audiological Evaluation for hypersensitive towards noise, if this hypersensitive persist for all kind of noise. And if this hypersensitive is specific towards any noise then consult to nearest Psychiatrist or Clinical Psychologist for detail assessment and treatment.

If noise sensitivity is specific then it could be part of anxiety.
Health Tips
You can do environmental manipulation, such as put small cotton in your ear, use pillow to hide your 👂 during sleep or use headphones to hear pleasent music or filter the high noise.
