Dental sensitivity can be due to many factors. What would be recommended is to use a desensitising paste such as Sensodent KF or Shy NM. Place a small amount of paste onto the sensitive surface of the tooth and let it stay for 2 minutes.
However if the sensitivity is related to a cavity, then the treatment would be to get it filled right away. The earlier the cavity is detected.. The easier is the treatment..please do not wait for symptoms to develop. Good luck.
