My mother got RCT in her one of the right molar teeth 2 times but her pain is not receding and comes back time to time. Also she is a diabetic and whenever her sugar surges pain get bad and also affects her right head. Even painkillers can't help it.

Get an X-ray done to check if the root canal tooth is reinfected or an adjacent tooth is causing pain. Treatment depends on the cause. If root canal has been attempted twice and failed, extraction of the tooth may have to be done
