Swelling may be because of the infection created in the respective tooth spreading to adjacent gums.need to take an iopa /x-ray and confirm the extent of infection and do the necessary  treatment.if the infection is due to cavity involving the nerve then an root canal treatment is advisable.
Next Steps
do visit a nearby dentist to get a right opinion.home remedies can like warm salt water gargles and pain killers can give you temporay relief.

hello, you can do warm salt water rinses as a home remedy, but this will give only temporary relief from pain. you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. get an x-ray done. if there is a cavity, you need to get it filled. if there is infection to the root of the tooth, you need to get it treated. then get a crown placed over it.

First & foremost get a thorough dental examination from a good dentist & get the required treatment done. Your query depicts a tooth abscess which requires immediate treatment including x Ray's of involved teeth.  Instead of spending time for online solutions & fixes, kindly seek professional help at earliest from some good practitioner. Good luck to you 👍

Hello Sir Greetings of the day. Visit the dentist without any further delay. Get the required clinical examination and x-rays of the tooth involved. You might need RCT with the involved tooth. If the swelling does not involve the tooth you will be needing a professional cleaning to be done to reduce the inflammation of the gums.
Next Steps
Warm saline gargles several times a day can be done to relieve the pain temporarily
