if u want an immediate load and the bone status of favorable then whole procedure can be conducted in a month time, else u need to go in traditional implant or tooth root screw embedding followed the stump[coping] followed crown[tooth] which will take a 4 months time.Prime important part is show the condition and status of the tooth to the neighboring dentist and discuss the detail planing with the implantologist then execute it.
Single tooth ideally best way is dental implant. Procedure would be 1 hour, healing phase would be 3 to 6 months. Implant cost vary. Technically choose an implant system which is universally practised. Make sure you have complete details of the implant placed.
Hi the implant treatment procedure best suits you by your age. If you visit your nearby dentist further investigations like radiographs has to be done before treatment so that you will be confirmed for procedure. Coming to the time for implant placement it varies from single sitting immediate loading to 3 months time period for placement & loading. The cost will differ with the quality of the implant...
Time for implant treatment can vary from single sitting immediate loading to 3 months gap between implant placement and loading. Cost depends upon clinical situation and quality of implant .(generally starts from 20000 rupees)
Now a days different implants have come immediate single stage implants where total procedure completed in a day (if you are fit for it)
Best and most used method is endosteal implants where an implant is fixed and left out for a minimum of three months and second part of implant is fixed after three months.
The new or latest is HYBRID IMPLANTS u can google about it.
Cost of implants will start from 15000 .
Today dental implants is the best and latest treatment option available for replacement of teeth. I must say you have taken a very wise decision of getting an implant done rather than a bridge.
1) The whole procedure takes 30 mins to 1 hour. It varies from case to case.
After placement of the implant there are various options available for loading the tooth on top with a cap (crown).
Option 1: Ideally wait for 3-6 months and then put a cap (crown) on top.
3 months if the implant is in the lower jaw.
6 months if the implant is in the upper jaw.
Option 2: Place a temporary cap on the implant immediately or 1 week after implant placement. Then replace the temporary cap with a permanent cap after 3 months.
Option 3: Place a permanent cap (crown) within 2-3 days after implant placement.
Preferred option would be option 1.
2) The treatment cost depends on the company you choose. With my experience all implants are good. Main factor is the acceptance of the body to a foreign object. On an average it would vary from 20-35 thousand depending on the company.
Additional charges to this could be:
i) If extra bone graft is used
ii)The cap that would be put on top of the implant
iii)CBCT (Type of a CT scan where the doctor can a detail picture of the exact amount of bone available. Also see where is the position of the nerve, Maxillary sinus etc.
Advisable to get a CBCT done
iv) If a membrane is used during the procedure.
I hope i have been able to address your query.
Hi..a dental implant is the preferred form of treatment of late..good for you for taking this decision
.Now firstly an xray will determine the amount of bone and the quality of the same.
The presence/absence of any infection in and around the area
Your general health and habits (grinding your teeth or smoking or uncontrolled diabetes are contraindications)
Once u r cleared for Implants..the actual procedure will take no more than 20-30 mins . Again while immediate loads are great..it is often recommended to wait for 3 months post implant placement for bone integration.
Cost-go for quality implants rather than Korean..Chinese or Israel implants. Cost could vary between 30-50k for implant and approx 7500 for crown after 3 months
For ur age Implant is best option. Total procedure will be half an hour.done under local anesthesia. a good quality Implant will range between 22000 to 45000
