Hi Drs
PLEASE CLARIFY MY DOUBTS
I'll come straight to the point now as m so worried
1. I had got dental abcess which I was not aware bu notice the swelling of bump 4 to 5 days back and had been to dentist today and they mentioned it's abcess n pus is accumulated
2. DENTIST ONE - Mentioned it's impacted gums and two tooths and as a treatment he mentioned - Scaling , deep cleaning and pus extract and post that root canal and cap
--But my husband tld we shall take second opinion --3.so we went to one more dentist
They mentioned yes it is bacterial infection and same abcess + pus
Again they also performed x ray and tld it's jus on the gums and not on the teeth
As a course of treatment
They did
Scalling
Cleaning and surgery to remove the abcess and did some Lazer to kill the bacterial infection
So now my worry is I was not aware since when I had this coz I had no pain .. whether it has spread to others parts of my body which might my organs or cause serious health issues

In your case, you need to get all the 4 wisdom teeth removed since all the 4 teeth are impacted (tooth that remains stuck and doesn’t grow properly).
Next Steps
You should visit your nearby dentist and get it removed
Health Tips
No, the infection doesn’t spread to other organs or cause any serious health problems. Only in some cases, the infection can reach your spaces and cause space infection, cellulitis etc. So it is better to get the tooth removed asap, if your overall health is fine with no serious medical history and your dentist gives a heads up to go ahead with the extraction.

Extraction of all 4 wisdom teeth is best option.
Except one tooth, all other 3 tooth are disturbing the nearby tooth.
But first remove the one with abcess.
Hi.. condition doesn't look serious. Whatever treatment done by the dentist is all correct. However based on x ray, all wisdom teeth need extraction eventually to avoid future complications...
Yes its the impacted wisdom teeth which is the cause of ur gums swelling
Disimpaction or removal of wisdom teeth is needed to permanently cure
And using a Waterflosser to keep the gums clean
Next Steps
1) disimpaction of wisdom teeth
2) regular use of waterflosser
All your 4 wisdom tooth are impacted. It is not gonna come out properly with alignment to the adjacent teeth.
The gums covering those wisdom tooth can get infected . It will be difficult to clean that area and food lodgement issues can also occur , thus decay and abscess occurs to the adjacent tooth.
In the x ray there is no such chronic long standing infection .
Only thing is your tooth (wisdom tooth) is impacted,it doesn’t have space to come out.
If you are getting trouble with this tooth repeatedly
It is Better to remove those wisdom tooth .
Next Steps
Consult a maxillofacial surgeon for removal of wisdom tooth
First of all the X-Ray (OPG) is not suitable to see that there is any abscess you should do an iopar for a closure view. Secondly dental abscess in rare case can spread to other places not much to worry
Next Steps
if have any IOPAR of the Pre Work done by dentist then show...
Hi,
The x-ray shared does not show any significant infection. All 4 wisdom teeth are impacted. Advise to remove the wisdom teeth if problem is recurrent. This infection if treated at the right time will not spread.
